Lunar New Year celebrations at The Leederville Precinct
We're pleased to be inviting the The Chung Wah Lion Dance Troupe down to Leederville for a traditional Lion Dance to bring in the Lunar New Year! Join us from 5PM on Friday February 9th for a fun showcase of Chinese culture, as two lions chase away away evil spirits and misfortune from the Precinct, and welcome in prosperous times. All ages welcome!

On Thursday, February 8th join us for a lucky banquet set menu.
Guest chef Carrol Chew will be serving up Lunar New Year classics like Yee Sang and Lo Bak Go - authentic Malaysian food to welcome the Year of the Dragon. Expect intermingling influences from Malacca and Peranakan, blended in Servo's wood-fired kitchen...a symphony of flavours coming together for one night only!
'My passion for cooking started from a life long obsession with learning the way my mum cooked - always pairing our classic soy sauce dishes with touches of spice and sambal. I guess, it stemmed from the cross cultures from where mum and dad were from. My mum was born of Indian and Portugese descent from Malacca, and dad from the Peranakan heritage (itself an intermarriage of Chinese and Malay ethnic groups). My Singaporean parents and their peers formed a unique group in their food, language, dress and way of life and beliefs.'
